What exactly does Zephyr do?
Zephyr is an event catering service in Medellín: we take care of the food of your event, with chef-driven cooking. We have no place to eat at our office and we do not receive diners: we bring the kitchen to wherever your event is held.
What kinds of events do you cater?
Corporate events —company meetings, year-end dinners, client appreciation events— and private events: birthdays, private parties, weddings and celebrations, private dinners and a private chef at home.
How do I request a quote for my event?
Fill in the quote form, or write to us on WhatsApp or by email with the date, the type of event and the approximate number of guests. We send you a proposed menu and a quote within 24 business hours.
Which areas do you cover?
Medellín, the Aburrá Valley and Oriente (Eastern Antioquia): among others Envigado, Sabaneta, La Estrella, Itagüí, Caldas and Bello, and Rionegro, Llanogrande, La Ceja and El Retiro. If your event is somewhere else, write to us and we will tell you whether we can cover it.
What if I don’t have a venue for the event?
Zephyr takes care of the food, not of the venues. Our ally Tu San Agustín (tusanagustin.com, in Spanish) provides the venues and organizes the event, while Zephyr takes care of the food. Tell us your idea when you request the quote and we will tell you how to move forward.
Do you cater for allergies and dietary restrictions?
Yes. Tell us about any allergies, intolerances or preferences in the group when you request the quote and we adapt the menu.
What menus do you offer?
Every menu is designed to measure for the occasion. On our home page you will find sample dishes from Zephyr's kitchen; the final proposal is defined with you when you request the quote.
Where is Zephyr based? Can I come to eat?
Our office is in San Joaquín (Laureles), in Medellín, and it is the base from which we go out to every event. We have no place to eat there and we do not receive diners: to talk to us, request a quote online or write to us on WhatsApp or by email.
Do you serve clients in English?
Yes. Our team works with clients in English and in Spanish from start to finish: WhatsApp messages, the quote and the day of the event.
How much does a private chef cost in Medellin?
It depends on the menu, the group and the date, so we do not publish a fixed figure. Tell us the occasion, the date and the approximate number of guests, and we send you a proposed menu and a quote within 24 business hours.
